The dark tortoise color is exactly what I was hoping for, and the frame feels sturdy without being heavy on my face. I've worn them for a few hours already with no slipping or discomfort.

I was a little worried the clear lenses might look too clinical, but they actually let the frame's dark tortoise pattern take center stage in a really stylish way. The overall fit is surprisingly comfortable for a more structured optical frame.

The Dark Tortoise finish is even richer in person than the photos showed, and the frame feels sturdy without being heavy. I've worn it every day since it arrived and get compliments constantly.
